A Safe, Inclusive Space to Explore: what spirituality means to you, healing after trauma, and joy, connection, and inner peace. No Religion or belief required- just curiosity and self care.

A six-week journey to rediscover inner strength, meaning, and connection, created especially for those who have experienced homelessness.
Each weekly one-hour session offers a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore spirituality, heal from trauma, and nurture a sense of belonging.
No religious affiliation required — spirituality here means whatever feeds your soul.
Workshop Outline

Welcome &
What Is Spirituality?
We begin by building a safe community where everyone feels seen and heard.
Explore spirituality beyond religion, share your story, and reflect on what spirituality could mean for you.

Reconnecting
With Yourself
Discover what brings you joy and grounds you. Whether it’s music, laughter, art, or nature.
Learn to rebuild your spiritual connection in small, nourishing ways.

Building a
Spiritual Practice
Learn how to cultivate a personal spiritual practice that fits your life.
Explore gentle tools for healing trauma (movement, ritual, and creative expression), and begin to create a sustainable path of self-care.

Making Meaning
Reflect on your life’s journey: do you find meaning in past challenges, or would you rather let go?
Together, we’ll explore the stories we tell ourselves about suffering, resilience, and purpose.

Belief
What do you believe about the universe, life, and yourself?
Explore life’s biggest questions in a safe and open space.
There are no wrong answers. Even “I don’t know” is a valid belief.

Conclusion & Community
Celebrate your growth and the connections you’ve made.
Take part in a closing ritual and join an ongoing monthly group to continue learning and sharing your spiritual journey.

Graduates of the workshop are invited to a monthly one-hour gathering. Each session includes half an hour of learning (spirituality, self-care, healing practices) and half an hour of open sharing.
